Resident in Deane for 12 years.  Formerly IT Director of the Automobile Association, retired since 2000.  Married with three children and one grandchild.  Hobbies include travelling, gardening, arts and theatre.  Member of the Rotary Club and chairman of a small local charity offering work to the disabled.

Has lived in Oakley since 1986.  Married to Derek for over 50 years.  Retired in 1998 after 21 years from Sun Life of Canada.  Belongs to Oakley and Deane WI and was a helper at the day centre, until it closed.  Has two children and four grandchildren.  Doesn’t get a lot of time for hobbies but enjoys reading, having holidays and being with the family.

Moved to Oakley 8 years ago to be closer to her daughter’s horse!  Married to Paul with three children, five grandchildren.  Involved with the Oakley Pantomime Society writing, directing and performing (sounds very grand but really just a lot of fun!).  Belongs to Oakley Community Church and has taught at the King’s School in Basingstoke for twenty-five years, though she hung up her mortar board during 2007 to indulge in her hobbies, which include writing, travelling and, of course, drinking red wine!

After studying the arts and photography, Graeme turned his hand to journalism and was the first photographer to have a picture on the front of The Times, and has snapped all the members of the Royal family over the years.

He has a love of music and has run High Society Jazz, which has played alongside Acker Bilk, Kenny Ball, Chris Barber and the late Humphrey Lyttelton.  His band was voted the Best Marching Band when it competed against bands from all over the world in 1985.  Now retired, he lives in Oakley with partner Marian and still plays every week.

Oakley resident for 25 years.  Married with three children, two grandchildren.  Although retired is a governor of Queen Mary's College and is involved in a minor way with scouting in the village (cubs accounts).  He enjoys classical and traditional jazz music, reading and travel and, in what time remains, relaxing!

Moved to Oakley in 1975 and started her own accountancy business in 1978.  Has been a member of Oakley and Deane WI since 1979 and was persuaded by the members to stand for election to the Parish Council in 1983.  She was a governor of Oakley Junior School and her interests are family and local history, travel, music and gardening.

Married to Helen for 26 years and has two boys, Stephen and Michael.  Has lived in the village for 23 years.  Was a junior school parent governor and helped the youth council raise funds to build the skate park.  Presently active on the Planning Committee.  When not running his village business, Tom has an interest in skiing and anything on motorised wheels.

Retired in 1999 having worked for British Petroleum for over 30 years.  Has been church treasurer for more than 20 years and is a trustee and debt adviser for Money Lifeline, a Christian charity offering debt advice.  He plays golf twice a week and became a proud Grandad in 2006 for the first time!

Has lived in Oakley for 24 years with husband Geoff and has 2 two sons who grew up enjoying life in the village and attending Oakley Infant and Junior schools. Jenny has now retired as a teacher from Fort Hill Community School having worked there for 21 years and can now take up hobbies and interests including a more active part in village life.

She maintains contact with the school as a school governor.

Moved to Oakley in 2010 from Hedge End where she was a local councillor for 2 years. Married to Stephen with two sons and various pets!  Although new to the village she grew up in Basingstoke which is also where she met her husband many years ago!  She has been a respite foster carer for Hampshire County Council since 2000.  She enjoys walking her dog, trying to exercise and watching her son play football.

Work part-time for Gary's IT company and also volunteer at the local charity shop - "Annies".  Play cricket for Oakley Ladies Cricket team and enjoy country walks with my 2 dogs.

Moved to Oakley in 1981 from Alresford, where she was also Parish Clerk.  Married to Ian with two children and 2 grandchildren.  Secretary to Oakley Cricket Club and member of Oakley & Deane WI and Oakley Garden Club. Spends the remainder of her limited spare time gardening, keeping hens, walking the dog and researching local and family history.
