The local environment, both natural and man-made, provides the framework for the existence of the Parish, and is clearly important to the community as demonstrated by the 90% satisfaction expressed in questions about the maintenance of the surrounding environment, and the various comments collected throughout the consultation process, both from the adults and the children. Further evidence of this point is demonstrated by the overwhelming support (86%) for an annual clean-up campaign, and the level of satisfaction with the maintenance activities carried out in public green areas (90%).
Areas of concern regarding environmental matters related mostly to the availability of recycling services (75%), and the ease of use/current state of the public footpaths in the area (82%).
