Kennet Way Park is in desperate need of some TLC. We are a large village with over 1000 children but the park, as lucky as we are to have one, unfortunately, does not captivate children for any real length of time. Most of the equipment is old and outdated. The area lacks character and basic amenIties but has the potential to be a really fantastic space. So our mission (and it is a big one) is to raise a grand total of £125,000 to create an imaginative play space and surrounding green space area for the residents of Oakley to enjoy for years to come. We want to create a space that becomes the heart of our village. A space that, unites a community, encourages people to spend more quality time together, to get outside and play, to socialise and give back to our community. Kennet Way Park will be a place for everyone, no matter your age. We have until September 2019 to raise the funds and we hope to have a completed project installed and ready to use by autumn 2020 BUT TO DO THIS WE NEED YOUR HELP We are relying on YOU the general public to help us reach our target. Every penny and pound count. The more we raise the better the finished project will be. So dig deep, share this campaign far and wide with friends and family and let us start raising some serious cash for the village. No matter the value of your donation, the most important thing is that you donated. So please show some support and community spirt and support this amazing project. To find out more about the project please visit www.kennetwwaypark.co.uk
