Oakley & Deane WI celebrated its centenary in April 2018 with a birthday party attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Basingstoke and Deane and the great-great grand-daughter of our first President. Members were delighted to receive an invite from the Mayor to tea in the Mayor's Parlour as part of our celebrations.  As well as the monthly meetings, lunches, outings and walks, Oakley & Deane WI holds a monthly coffee morning at the Beach Arms on the 4th Tuesday and jumble sales to raise funds They also have a scrabble group.
