Finance Regulations
Oakley and Deane Parish Council are responsible for the management of the funds we receive, and we are subject to audit and to public scrutiny of our accounts. Adherence to Financial Regulations and the practice of good governance is vital to the running of the Parish Council.
The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) Model Financial Regulations for parish and town councils are standardised guidelines designed to ensure the proper management and oversight of financial activities within these councils. These regulations provide a framework for financial governance, helping councils maintain transparency, accountability, and efficiency in their financial operations. They are crucial for safeguarding public funds and promoting good governance practices.

Finance and Investment Policy 2025
The purpose of this policy is to set out the policies for the management of cash and investments held by Oakley and Deane Parish Council (ODPC) which are not required for day to day operational purposes:
