Oakley and Deane Neighbourhood Plan

The Neighbourhood Plan for Oakley was undertaken by a group of dedicated people from all backgrounds on behalf of Oakley & Deane Parish Council and took nearly two years to produce.

Oakley and Deane Neighbourhood Plan was put to referendum on 17th March 2016 and a resounding 95% of those who voted were in favour of the Plan. It was formally adopted by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council on 26th May 2016.

Oakley's was the first Neighbourhood Plan in the Borough to come to referendum, and the hard work of the whole team involved is recognised not only in our village, but right across the borough council area.  This was further acknowledged by the Borough when the Mayer presented Ros Blackman, the Parish Council Chairman and George Elkin, one of the Oakley team with a certificate for the parish in 2017.

The final plan can be downloaded using the link below.  For any of the other supporting documents please contact the Clerk.
