Meetings

The monthly Parish Council meeting is usually held at the Newfound Pavilion on the second Thursday of each month (except August, when there is normally no meeting). Meetings commence at 7.30 pm with a Public Session, where any resident may come and speak to the members.

The formal council meeting starts at 7.40 pm and whilst members of the public and press are welcome to stay, they are not permitted to take part in the proceedings unless requested by the Chairman. If there are Confidential Items at the end of the meeting the public and press are asked to leave.

The Planning Committee also holds a public meeting on the first and third Thursday of the month at the same time and venue. Currently being held online due to COVID restrictions.

Agendas for the meetings are published on the website and also on the Notice Boards around the village.
