Prospective member's information pack

Many residents do not know or may not appreciate the scope of the work of  Parish Councils generally and specifically what areas Oakley & Deane Parish Council is responsible for.

The council have therefore obtained leaflets issued by the Hampshire Association of Local Councils and have put these with four other documents providing details of the work of Oakley & Deane Parish Council, to form a Prospective Councillors Information Pack.

The packs are on display at village events and are given to residents who have expressed an interest in joining the council at the next election or when there is a vacancy to be filled by co-option.
