Transport

Bus Service:

No. 11 bus run by Stagecoach provides an hourly service to Oakley from Basingstoke. Click here for up to date information or, for a copy of the timetable see the attachment below. 

In addition there is a No. 76 bus which runs between Basingstoke and Andover along the B3400.  The nearest stop is at Pack Lane / Fox Lane cross roads. Click here for up to date information or, for a copy of the timetable see the attachment below.

Oakley Community Care:   

The charity offers transport by car to anyone in need, mainly for visits to doctors, hospital appointments and prescription collection.  Wheelchair users must be able to transfer to the car unaided.  Oakley Community Care is made up of friendly Volunteers who are unpaid.  However, a donation by the passenger to cover fuel and other costs is appreciated.

They also provide transport for those who wish to regularly attend the various village clubs, i.e. Memory Club, Podiatry, Bingo, Coffee and Chat mornings.

Trains: 

From the main line station at Basingstoke, South Western Railways run services to London Waterloo, Southampton, Bournemouth and Weymouth and to Exeter.  Great Western Railways run from Basingstoke to Reading where there are connections for Bristol, Oxford and London Paddington.  For  more information contact National Rail enquiries on http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk
