By-gone Oakley

Below you will find photos of the area in days gone by.  Some of the scenes have hardly changed over the year whereas other buildings and views have completely disappeared.

The Parish Council would like to thank those residents who have loaned / given photographs for the various events we have held since the first book was written in 1994.  Many of the people interviewed at that time are no longer with us and therefore the pictures are the only remaining record of Oakley as a small village
