In the event of a cardiac arrest, access to a defibrillator can be lifesaving. In Oakley there are many located around the village and this map shows their locations.

No code is needed to unlock them and many are available 24/7 as they are on the outside of buildings.

Oakley Community Association is guardian of these five defibrillators. They are checked once a month and new pads and batteries ordered as necessary. Any concerns, please email ocaoakley@live.co.uk.

  • The Fox PH (Outside Wall)
  • The Barley Mow PH (Outside Wall)
  • East Oakley Village Hall, (Green Hut), Hill Road
  • Oakley Infant School, Oakley Lane (Outside wall facing car park)
  • The Peter Houseman Ground (Outside Wall).

These defibrillators are managed by Sports Clubs or private ownership:

  • The Newfound Pavilion (Inside)
  • Bakers of Oakley, Pardown (Outside in the yard)
  • Oakley Cricket Club, Trenchards Lane, Oakley, RG23 7EA (Inside)

Emergency situations can be scary and worrying, so it is important to know that you don’t need any training to use the equipment, open the case and voice prompts take you through each step.

Always dial 999 in an emergency.
